About Us

Welcome to Fantasia Showstoppers!

Fantasia Showstoppers was founded in 2020 to provide meaningful and accessible creative opportunities for young people aged 8-21 in Sydney’s West.

If your child seeks the thrill of a creative adventure, or you are searching to unlock their super-charged social confidence, your child will feel right at home with Fantasia Showstoppers.

Our programs centre around offering weekly workshops to develop skills in theatre and performance, while empowering young people in the West to be confident and creative and to connect with their community.

FAQs

  • When and where can I find information about auditions for productions?
Our audition notices are posted on social media through our Facebook and Instagram pages. Auditions are held typically in January for April productions, June for September/October productions, and September for December productions.
  • How can I participate in Productions?
We run auditions to select our cast and team for each production.
  • What are your membership options?
Adults and Children can become members for a fee of $30 per year. We also offer free Associate Memberships for parents or guardians wishing to accompany a child membership.
  • Are you a Not-for-Profit Organisation?
We sure are! As a NFP, we rely on funding and donations from other organisations and businesses. Any money we make is invested straight back into Fantasia to ensure we're creating the best possible environment for our students to learn and thrive. If you'd like to support us, you can donate here.
  • How do I enrol in a weekly program?
You can enrol online here. Please note, enrolment is only open prior to the end of week 1 for each 10 week term.
  • Who are your weekly enrichment classes suitable for?
We offer weekly Musical Theatre, Drama and Show Choir classes here at Fantasia Showstoppers. These classes cater to 8-21 year olds and are suitable for all experience levels. If you, or someone you know is interested in performing arts, get in touch with us today or enrol online here.
  • I'm a beginner. Is this class right for me?
Our Enrichment Classes are suitable for all experience levels and our students and teachers are all incredibly supportive.
  • What if I miss a week?
We strongly recommend that if you enrol, you attend all 10 classes. We do understand that sometimes you may get sick or have other commitments and may have to miss a class. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or makeup sessions for missed classes but we will do everything we can to bring you up to speed once you return.
  • What happens at the end of the 10 weeks?
There will be a performance at the end of each 10 week term, allowing students to share what they have learnt during the term.
  • Can I just attend a few classes?
Our classes are designed to develop students over a 10-week period. With this in mind, we don't offer individual sessions and only accept payment for the full 10-week term. If you are unsure if this class is right for you, we do offer a trial session in week 1. Contact us for more information.

We took our three year old to see fantasia showstoppers production of Moana. To say our expectations were exceeded would be an understatement. Three year olds mind was blown and two adults (one with extensive theatre viewing experience) were equally impressed! Very talented cast and crew!! Would recommend to anyone!
